A step further to expanding our reach in the French market

Earlier this month, our MTS Globe Partner network attended The International French Travel Market (IFTM) – Top Resa 2019. Every year, IFTM Top Resa, France’s leading international B2B tourism exhibition gathers key players of the French and European tourism industry. This year marks the second occasion when our Partner network have participated at the IFTM Top Resa travel fair, that took place in Paris.

Our MTS Globe Partner in Malta, Robert Arrigo & Sons has attended this fair for the past 35 years establishing throughout the years a strong network of French clients. In addition to Malta, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Egypt & Tunisia also participated.

Andrew Arrigo, General Manager of MTS Globe Malta mentions that: “The IFTM Top Resa 2019 was the 2nd year where MTS Globe destinations were guests on our Robert Arrigo & Sons stand. This joint effort was an opportunity to present and showcase MTS Globe destinations and their services for the French Market, under our slogan “Votre receptif 100% francophone” (Your 100% French speaking incoming). The presence at IFTM Top Resa 2019 surely highlighted the potential of the French Market and participants and clients alike have recognised the potential of a collaboration with MTS Globe destinations. The presence at the fair has shown its fruits and augurs well. It is satisfying to see the French Market responding positively to our presence at IFTM Top Resa and the strong introduction made via this co-exhibition at the fair. It indeed consolidates our global position as being an ideal partner for the French Market throughout all the destinations we offer as a group.”

For MTS Globe Greece, the cooperation with French tour operators started recently, in July 2019. Michalis Kontopyrakis, Commercial Manager of MTS Globe Greece highlights: It is remarkable to see, yet again, the importance of having a truly strong global partner network as we have here at MTS Globe Group. In this case, thanks to our MTS Globe partner in Malta and their well-established relationship in the French market for introducing us to IFTM Top Resa. We had several successful meetings at the fair, which we hope will lead to a long-term collaboration in the future.

Bringing over 34.000 tourism professionals, IFTM Top Resa is a great opportunity for us to strengthen our relationship with our partners, to network with key industry players & connect with tourism professionals. Overall, our presence at the fair this year was a step further to increasing our exposure within the French market and we are looking forward to returning next year 2020!
