Our colleagues of OTS Globe Americas took part in Florida’s foremost travel trade event, Florida Huddle.

This 3-day event, took place in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA. It is the official trade show for the State of Florida; a premier appointment-based trade show, showcasing what the Sunshine State has to offer for international and domestic tour operators and wholesalers, covering all destinations from the Florida Keys to the Northern Panhandle.

Neil Emerson, President of OTS Globe Americas, along with David Alexander, Mark Tierney, Carlos Machado and Sophia Fernandez from OTS Globe Americas attended the event with over 140 Florida suppliers and 170 client buyers also in attendance. Undoubtedly, the Huddle is seen as a tradition in the Florida travel business and an exciting opportunity to network and conduct business, as every region of Florida is under one roof. OTS Globe was clearly present to drive the message that OTS = FLORIDA.

Furthermore, in addition to the trade show, OTS Globe Americas also hosted a “Happy Hour” event. They hosted 75 guests at a beach-side restaurant in Daytona Beach. This allowed them to mix and mingle with their suppliers and clients attending Florida Huddle, along with celebrating the completion of their 1st year operating in Florida!

Neil Emerson adds, “We chose a perfect iconic beachfront location in Daytona Beach to have a relaxed gathering with many of our hotel partners and clients. Hotel partners were attending from across our beautiful state and clients / tour operators from the US, Canada, & Europe. The purpose was to cement in the minds of our partners that OTS = FLORIDA and that we are committed to driving business to Florida.”
