In memoriam, Robert Arrigo
It is with deep sorrow that we learnt of the passing of Robert Arrigo on October 18th 2022, member of our Partner Network and a greatly esteemed businessman, community contributor, family father and friend.
As the founder and chairman of Robert Arrigo & Sons Ltd, Robert was a pioneer in the tourism industry. His footprint will remain for years to come, and we are proud as the MTS Globe Group to be testimony to it.
Robert’s passion and love for his home country led him to a public service career; as mayor of Sliema and later as an elected member of the Malta parliament. He actively involved himself in Malta’s community wellbeing by personally engaging in charities, associations, and fundraising events.
Robert leaves his wife, Marina, and his sons Alan and Andrew behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. They will build on Robert’s legacy and memories, and be his ambassadors henceforth. Our Group and the Partner Network will carry on extending an open hand to keep those memories alive.
We will always remember our good moments with Robert, his thoughtful sense of humour, his contribution to everyone’s life and the profound respect he showed in all his personal relationships. He always found the time to invest in a personal talk. Robert, we are proud to have been allowed those talks with you, and having had you as friend.
