
Last month, we were excited to return and once again be part of this year’s World Travel Market London 2022, the leading global event for the travel industry bringing together over 51,000 travel professionals, government officials and journalists from multiple countries.
Global Presence
This year, among the almost 5,000 exhibiting destinations on display, we had our global stand situated next to the Canary Islands, within the area of Spain where all our partners from 19 countries attended. Each of our 19 countries had a table of representation and it was a fantastic opportunity for us to demonstrate our collaborative strength as a company, solidify our position in the industry, and reinforce our global presence.
The event spanned across three exciting and busy days when we met and reconnected with leaders in the industry, new and existing clients and old friends. It was a successful event, and our stand made a long-lasting impression packed with meetings from the very first day.
Commercial & Product Workshop
Following the tradeshow, the Commercial & Product team held their annual workshop. This year’s interactive workshop lasted 2 half days and looked at the relevant topics concerning OTS Travel Solutions with deep dives into migrated clients, Marketing Contracting & Holiday Extras.
The target of this event was an alignment and elaboration of a common strategy in between all.
Over 60 people from our destinations’ commercial and product teams attended the sessions. Dani Barros, Product Director at OTS Globe, explained:
“In a more & more consolidated market we need to continue working on differentiation, therefore strengthening our new business model. What a better opportunity to meet after such long time, share updates on new projects, and give the opportunity to the destinations to share their experience and their ideas with OTS Travel Solutions. We must continue working on our unique position in the market”.

The significance of the event, as well as the gathering of countries and guests from all over the world, reminds us of the importance of the tourism business on a global platform, and we cannot wait to return in 2023!
